Our once-a-month flying in-and-out of Switzerland CEO along with our Norwegian American VP of Sales for North America needs a kick-ass Sales Engineer to support our fast growing North American territory.
Responsibilites
We need a go-getter who knows how to partner with Account Execs to drive sales throughout all stages of the pipeline, from initial product demonstrations, to RFP’s, POC’s, and finally to implementing the end solution, you will provide the technical expertise and support. You will educate customers with Appway’s product line and how they can use our software, both now and in the future and you will be responsible for technical presentations and demonstrations to very senior levels of management across new and existing customers.
The ideal candidate will:
Partner with the Account Executives to achieve defined sales goals.
Manage target accounts
Lead efforts to ensure the delivery of all technical resources into the sales campaigns.
Assist in the production of RFPs and other proposals to clients.
Propose technical and business solutions in support of sales activities.
Present technical and business aspects of proposed solutions to prospective clients.
Responsible for development and delivery a consistently high quality of product demonstrations.
Responsible for the design and delivery of on or off site Proof of Concepts for prospective customers.
Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
Work with colleagues across the organization to receive the support needed to accomplish the technical goals.
Requirements
3+ years of specialized experience in software delivery or software development organization.
3+ years of specialized experience in at least one of the following fields: Financial Industry, Capital Market, Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management
Detailed knowledge of BPM-like products and Services.
Previous experience with system integration a plus.
Technical depth to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs.
Proven success conveying customer requirements to Product Management teams.
Hands-on experience of production environments in the Financial Services Industry (application servers, web servers, databases).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer interaction, requirements analysis, presentations, training, requirements specifications, system design, and documentation of user guides).
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Business Management, Computer Science, or equivalent background.
Must be eligible to work in the US.
Willing to travel to customer locations throughout North America.
