Hanspeter Wolf, a Swiss citizen born in 1974, serves as Chief Executive Officer and is the driving force behind Appway. He founded the company in 2003 with a vision to change the way people build software by delivering immediate benefits at reduced risks and costs.
As an entrepreneur from the very beginning, Hanspeter has more than 13 years of experience in building technology businesses. He previously served for four years as a Managing Partner in an IT consulting company. Hanspeter has consulted extensively in the use of advanced technologies, customer service processing, expert systems, and work automation.
Hanspeter lives in Zurich, Switzerland. He enjoys summer and winter sports, reading, music, contemporary art and, most importantly, spending time with his family.
René Hürlimann, a Swiss citizen born in 1970, serves as Appway’s Sales Director. He is responsible for the execution of Appway’s expansion strategy through direct sales activities and by building worldwide sales channels with partners.
René has more than six years of experience working in international business process outsourcing as Sales and Consulting Director. He previously served in various senior management roles abroad, including as CIO for a multinational consulting firm. His experience in Europe, the Americas and Asia is valuable in building international relationships with clients and partners. He has a federal degree in commercial information technology and holds an executive MBA in International Management.
René enjoys the fine art of living, sport cars and all kinds of sports - especially tennis and scuba diving. He lives with his family near Zurich.
Oliver Brupbacher, a Canadian and Swiss citizen born in 1967, has the overall responsibility for the direction, architecture, development and delivery of the entire Appway product stack.
Oliver has spent the past 19 years in the IT industry. His passion for technology spans the entire spectrum — from designing and building graphical user interfaces to developing firmware, device drivers and application software. Prior to joining Appway, he held the position of Chief Software Architect at a Swiss-based software engineering company.
Aside from work, Oliver acts as a greatly talented comic artist. He also enjoys swimming, reading, travelling the world and he loves technology and gadgets.
Paco Hauser, COO and Director Professional Services, a Swiss and German citizen, born in 1962, holds responsibility for project delivery to the client base as well as for HR and Finance. He is member of the board since 2004.
Paco has over 20 years international experience in IT and Management Consulting Industry. His fields of expertise cover the Banking and Insurance Industry, Travel and Transportation, Energy, Telecommunication as well as the IT and High-Tech Industry. His functional background includes strategy, mergers and acquisitions, operational excellence, Business-IT alignment and all aspects of IT including sourcing. He previously worked for Arthur D. Little, Computer Science Corporation (CSC), KPMG and BearingPoint at the Partner level. He holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the ETH and an EMBA from IMD.
Paco lives near Zurich, he is ambitious, goal-driven and passionate about clients. He enjoys sports, outdoor activities, travelling and family life in his free time.
