Appway 5.2 is here. Faster, more visual and now social, too.
The whole Appway team is excited to announce the imminent new release of our signature platform. Appway 5.2 sports a faster, more visual interface and introduces social interaction features for the first time.
Our engineers entirely redesigned Appway’s process engine and its matching editor with a focus on usability and collaboration. “Appway 5.2 minimizes the technology factor in software development. I hope someday we can remove it completely”, says CTO Oliver Brupbacher.

Managing processes and creating applications on the Appway platform is now even more efficient. Teams can work on a process at the same time and communicate directly within the system. We have also further expanded Appway’s visual editors. For example, users can now design a PDF output table or integrate external systems into Appway solutions graphically, without writing code.
The new visual editing and collaboration features bring us one step closer to our goal: bridging the divide between IT and business. By directly translating graphical models into applications, the Appway platform short-circuits the traditional path from business idea to solution.
