December 14, 2016Happy holidays from all of us at Appway!

!
We had a lot of major changes in 2016, from opening up a new office in London to launching major events around the globe. We are grateful to be part of a supportive community of thinkers and innovators and look forward to strengthening these relationships in the year ahead.

To celebrate the holiday spirit and give back in 2017, Appway is renewing its support for five organizations. From increasing access to STEM education to tackling global challenges through technology and human empowerment, these organizations reflect values that Appway is proud to sponsor:

Aiducation International awards merit-based, four-year scholarships to bright and motivated, financially disadvantaged students in developing countries. Every scholar receives mentoring and becomes a part of a network of future decision makers that will help them drive their countries forward.

Aqua Alimenta is a Swiss NGO that combats poverty in rural Africa, Latin America and India by using locally-adapted technologies to increase access to water. This improves living conditions and reduces irrigation and transport costs.

Make-A-Wish grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. Wish granting has a life-changing impact on children and their families, giving each child hope, strength and joy to carry on their journey.

Uni2grow Cameroun promotes local development by providing economically disadvantaged university students studying in Dschang with four-year scholarships. They help these students to develop skills while providing them with job opportunities in IT.

#YesWeCode provides low-opportunity youth with resources and tools to become world-class computer programmers. By learning programming skills, these young people are shifting the trajectory of their futures and transforming their relationships with their communities and countries.

We wish these organizations and their supporters all the best in 2017 and look forward to hearing about their progress and success!
